This project consisted of the installation of 17 cricket wickets over 13 parks around Manchester.
The process for installation began with scanning the ground, via Cat & Jenny, then Excavating the area, Tarmac was then placed in the area and it was topped.
On completion, a ball bounce test was undertaken. The parks were live during installation and the management of pedestrians was crucial in this project, a banksman was used to manage pedestrian access, vehicle access and deliveries to the park.
The weather was a challenge on this project due to waterlogged parks but to manage this we undertook works out of sequence, which required forward planning and review of the next site in good time. The project was completed on time, with a close working relationship with the client.
