The Rushcroft and Pevensey court scheme is for replacement of kitchen and bathrooms to 139 flats. Works also include installation of sprinkler systems, Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) works and asbestos removal to two-blocks which ran concurrently.
The FRA works to 139 properties and communal areas started in November 2019 and completed on time and within budget in May 2020.
To the 139 properties, there are works associated with:
10 kitchens and bathrooms
Seven properties with FRA only
Before works started in November 2019, pre-entry surveys and kitchen design surveys were completed to confirm the scope of works required.
Programme and Scope of works:
Bathroom room only properties were started on first, followed by kitchen and bathroom properties, followed by kitchen only properties.
Kitchen and Bathrooms were fully skimmed. The programme time to each property was three-weeks and three-days or 18 days, this allowed each property sufficient time to dry plaster and finish decorating works.
The programme started with five-starts per week (bathrooms only), followed by Kitchen and bathrooms then kitchen only properties, at 10-per week until completion.
FRA and sprinkler works ran parallel to the works in the properties
