A 3-year framework delivering a range of minor building works for DWP estates across the UK.
Seddon are delighted to be successfully re-appointed to the latest iteration of DWP Fit Out, Refurbishment, Minor Works, Capex Projects and Life Cycle Works. Seddon are a long-standing contractor for DWP and have been directly awarded around 25 projects in the North West since first iteration of the framework was established
- Lot A: (Minor Works) £0-£300k
- Lot B: Life Cycle Work/Capital Work Projects £300k-£3m
The DWP framework provides the successful delivery of schemes for the estates across the UK:
Lot A (Minor Works): All projects are limited to £300k and primarily focuses on providing works on the upkeep od the client.
Works will include but are not limited to:
- Minor Alterations to the Client Estate
- Buildings maintenance
- Adaptations
- Routine works
- Individual Life Cycle Work Projects (or programmes)
Lot B (Life Cycle Work/Capital Work Projects: All projects (or programmes) are typically between £300k-£3m to support the general up-keep of the buildings. DWP ensures statutory compliance with safe and effective places for staff to work and clients to visit.
Works include but are not limited to:
- Fit Out – routine, re-location (lease events led)
- Refurbishments i.e. walls, ceilings etc.
- Redecorations
- Replacement of end-of-life mechanical and electrical assets.
- Fabric Refurbishments
- Upgrades of existing space
- Programmed regional works for asset replacement such as Roofs, Lifts, HVAC into Programmes
