The Yorkshire Ambulance Service is investing in stations across Yorkshire, with a programme of minor building repairs and decoration, in both internal and external areas.
Our team was deployed to 9 locations:
- Bainbridge
- Barnsley
- Skipton
- Wath
- Bramley
- Dewsbury
- Middlewood
- Ripon
- Leeds
Ceilings, Bulheads, Walls and Trims – Prepared existing and newly plastered areas by scraping down defective coatings, filled holes or cracks, rubbed down to smooth and abrade surfaces, applied 1 mist coat, followed by 2 coats of either Johnstone’s Acrylic Eggshell or masonry paint; all applied by brush and roller
Floor and walkways – Prepared and degreased, followed by 2 full coats of Johnstone’s Floortred
Existing doors, frames, skirtings, linings, windows– Abraded existing pre-finished doors and frames, application of 1 full coat of undercoat followed by 1 full coat of Johnstone’s oil based gloss; all applied by brush
New Door Frames – Preparation and application of 1 full coat of Johnstone’s wood primer, followed by 1 full coat of undercoat and 1 full coat of gloss; all applied by brush and roller.
Structural Steel – Washed down dirt and carbon from the steel, applied 2 full coats Johnstone’s steel and clad; finish by brush and roller application
Various building works - removal of existing garage concertina doors, renewing doors and frames, replaced rotten timber fascia and soffits with UPVC, brickwork and re-pointing works to fuel pump areas, concreting to yard areas, and plastering.
