Fire risk remediation including fire door and access hatch replacement. Works were undertaken across 61 low rise two and three-storey blocks with up to six flats in each block.
The works comprise fitting of new fire rated door sets to tenanted and leaseholder flats, tenants/leaseholders storage cupboards, landlord service cupboards, replacement of glazing panels, fire stopping works and general repairs to the internal fabric of communal landings and staircase areas to ensure compliance with FSO 2005.
We ensured that access was maintained to all occupied areas including communal areas and kept exit routes free of obstruction during the works. Disruption to the building occupants was kept to a minimum.
Works comprised supply and fit and included the following elements:
Any required repairs to the relevant standards.
Fitting and fixing, adjusting and easing of ironmongery.
Notching and cutting of holes.
All bearers and fixings.
Making good all works that may have been disturbed by demolition, alteration or general building works.
Any redecoration works arising from the works.
