Careers Morning at Youth Challenge

/ News

Georgia Smith, Bid Submission Coordinator took part in the Careers Morning at the Youth Challenge Pupil Referral Unit in Bolton via Construction Ambassadors. The event included six 15-minute group sessions with around 4-8 Year 10 and 11 pupils, to inform them on the roles and apprenticeships available in the Construction industry. The event was very successful, with most students expressing an interest in construction, giving the pupils the motivation to gain the relevant qualifications.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU FOR OFFERING YOUR TIME, EXPERTISE AND GUIDANCE TO OUR PUPILS. OUR PUPILS LOVED IT! I THINK, WITH YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCE, YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT YOUR FIELD AND YOUR WILLINGNESS TO JOIN US IN OUR PROVISION MADE YOU PERFECT. I HOPE WE CAN BUILD SOME KIND OF RELATIONSHIP TO HELP OPEN UP THE HORIZON FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE.
