This DPS provides a compliant route to allow social housing providers to develop new properties or refurbish existing ones.
Property Services are happy to be appointed to one lot on CHIC’s Development DPS.
Lot 3: Construction Contractors/Developers
CHIC is a not for profit, member owned and governed asset management consortium. They provide a broad range of services primarily for the affordable housing sector but also for public sector bodies.
The DPS is split into three different lots available for all members across the UK:
Lot 1: Consultants
This lot provides access to a range of professional services, including architects, planners, surveyors and project managers
Lot 2: Additional Services
Contractors on this lot provide services ssuch as remediation, demolition, site clearance, asbestos removal, geotechnical services and landscaping.
Lot 3: Construction Contractors/Developers
Contractors on this lot will offer services who can deliver affordable and compliant housing projects.
Benefits
Membership: Membership of CHIC is free to join for any housing association, public sector body and charity. Members will also have access to all services available.
Dedication: There is an established Framework Core Group to encourage learning, standardisation, and collaboration for members to deliver new homes efficiently, ensuring the sector are working towards to same goal.
