Survey, design and installation of 61 kitchens and 73 bathrooms, associated asbestos removal and fire risk assessments to 139 occupied and vacant flats over two high rise blocks.

The project was managed by Contracts Manager, Mark Norcliffe supported by a full time Site Manager and Resident Liaison Officer.

Works to both blocks were carried out concurrently and includes renewal of mechanical ventilation, window repairs, installation of sprinkler systems, fire risk assessments and asbestos removal.

Seddon installed temporary fire stopping to maintain fire integrity of the blocks until pipework was in place and final fire stopping installed. A void flat was used for project welfare and office facilities 
and void flat used as a respite facility during intensive periods of works, ensuring residents had constant access to water and food during the works.

As on all Seddon projects, emergency out of hours contact was available 24-hours per day, seven days per week.The project completed within target with an overall Contractor Satisfaction Customer Service score of 9.5 (covering accessibility to project delivery team and senior management, response times, problem solving, teamworking and communication).
