Works started in May 2020, as the Covid19 pandemic gripped the nation, to manage and complete the installation of a new incinerator and canopy at Markeaton Crematorium, for Derby City Council.
The programme included the installation of a concrete base for the new cremation chamber to sit on, the erection of a canopy linking the old building to the new chamber, to provide protection from the elements and the widening of internal doors, including fire doors.
As all works were completed during lockdown, the Seddon team worked vigilantly to ensure social distancing rules and hygiene guidance was adhered to, at all times.
