As we are all aware, the country is responding to the current COVID-19 situation, with events unfolding daily.
As a business and an employer, our efforts are focused around the safety of our people, continuity of delivery and preservation of resources. We are, therefore, closely following all the published advice to make the best decisions for our team, customers, partners and communities.
Since our successful business continuity test last week, we’ve been asking our people to work from home. In doing so we are utilising available technologies that allow to us to remain in contact with our customers and partners remotely.
We’re working with our people to help support them through the coming weeks. Following the school closures on Friday 20th March, we are looking at ways that we can create more flexible working patterns, with reduced levels of personnel, to allow people to look after themselves and their families, while enabling them to still get their day job done.
Our senior leaders are meeting each morning to review the situation, factoring in the latest Government advice. This will allow us to keep our sites open, our people working safely, and our projects operational during these uncertain times.
We’ve been thinking about the best ways to keep you updated on any new developments, so please keep an eye on our social media channels and website news feed. If you need to contact a member of the Seddon Team, please do so by ringing their usual contact number, or by email.
The only thing that remains to be said at this point is please stay safe and look after each other.
