The newly re-constructed care facility represents the next exciting phase for Westhaven, which for over 60 years has achieved an excellent reputation in care of the elderly and end of life care.
Seddon successfully constructed the new 52-bed facility over three floors. Each room provided ensuite toilet and shower facilities, all finished to a high standard ensuring the comfortability and well being of the elderly residents.
Communal areas included a spacious lounge area professional kitchen and canteen. The home is situated in a quiet residential area in the heart of Hoylake, adjacent to a conservation area.
There is a garden to the rear of the property with raised flower beds, patio areas and walkways for the residents and family members to enjoy. Car parking is available onsite for visitors.
Works included demolition to existing (trading) care home, topographical and asbestos surveys along with extensive groundworks.
Westhaven Care Home provides a number of specialist care services such as nursing, palliative care, physical disability, sensory disability, respite care, physiotherapy. The facility offers convenience to all residents and staff, located near local shops, a Medical Centre as well as accommodation providing disabled access and security systems.
