Blenheim Court is a prominent Grade A office location in Solihull town centre, situated alongside a broad variety of retail and leisure outlets. The building’s private multi-storey car park was in need of redecoration.
As this is a working office car park area all work had to be organised with the site security and facilities management to avoid disruption to office staff.
Seddon Painting had to specify recommended paints for the substrates and also keeping budget restraints in mind for the client to get the best value for money.
Areas Painted were:
- Car Park Cladded Ceilings
- Car Park Render Ceilings and Walls
- Car Park Metal Rails
- Car Park Handrails
- Car Park Staircase Doors and Frames.
All areas were power-washed to remove all dirt and surface carbon and prepared to ST2 using hand tools with Dulux Zinc Phosphate Primer used to spot prime all bare areas. The cladded soffits were finished with 2 full coats of Dulux Clad Shield by spray application. The structural steelwork was finished with 2 full coats of Dulux Metal Shield by brush and roller application.
