Our donation of £3000 aims to enhance the gym's ability to serve both budding and experienced boxers, reinforcing its role in promoting community spirit. The addition of the second boxing ring on the upper floor of the gym marks a significant milestone in its efforts to reach more individuals and further solidify its role as a community hub.
Danny McCann, Director of Painting & Maintenance emphasised the importance of providing the community with spaces such as Elite Boxing, as he himself began training at the gym over four years ago at 42.
This donation is not just about providing a physical space for boxing. It's about investing in a community initiative that has a proven track record of positive influence, particularly among the youth. Youth Centre
Our contribution did not stop there, and the Painting team at Seddon generously volunteered to decorate a brand-new community hub for young people in the area, providing a safe space to train and relax. A team of three painters painted and decorated the new space over five days, to ensure a brighter, more inviting atmosphere.
We've recently acquired a Youth Centre located in the same mill as Elite Boxing. Danny and the Seddon team will be generously assisting us with the necessary painting work. To further develop this space into a safe space for the youth in the area, we are reaching out for additional donations and volunteers. Our plan is to provide boxing training, an array of recreational activities, and even educational programs

After successfully winning bronze at the Paris Olympics 2024, Cindy Ngamba, a refugee from Cameroon but now resides in Bolton, held her first press conference at Elite Boxing where she trained. Seddon were the main sponsors of this event, celebrating her achievements and the support and care Elite Boxing provided over the years.
