Community Impact : Bolton Schools Decarbonisation Projects

Overview

The Bolton Schools Decarbonisation Projects delivered a range of community initiatives focused on improving digital access, inspiring young people, and supporting residents into construction careers.

1. Digital Learning Support
The team donated laptops and tablets to St Mary’s CE Primary School, helping expand digital learning opportunities for pupils.


2. Inspiring Future Talent
A careers talk at Ladybridge High School introduced students to the wide variety of roles within the construction industry and encouraged them to explore future pathways.


3. Employability Support
In partnership with Seddon and Bright Direction Training, We Are Footprint delivered a two-day employability programme giving participants practical insights, confidence, and clear routes into sustainable employment.
